From 25 February to 3 March 2024, students of our faculty and members of the IACES LC Mostar association, Katarina Ćorić and Ante Laštre, attended the international event "Istanbuild Week" organized by BÜYAP/IACES LC Boğaziçi.
"This year again, we had the opportunity to attend one of the major international events that brought together a multitude of civil engineering students from as many as seven European countries".
"Throughout the week, we had the opportunity to visit and explore the city of Istanbul, attend professional lectures, enhance our knowledge, have fun and make new friends. The event was started by a visit to the Boğaziçi University and presentations from each individual LC. On that day, an international evening was held where everyone had the opportunity to present their homeland and culture through food, dance and song, and already on the second day we visited the construction site of a new metro station, which is expected to relieve Istanbul's heavy traffic. We spent the rest of the days mainly walking and exploring the city located on the Bosphorus Strait, socializing and getting to know new people and different cultures..."
