On 29 January 2026, the Coordination Meeting of the project “Improving Coastal Areas Resilience to Climate Change Impacts and Setting up Guidelines for Sustainable Beach Stabilisation and Management (ClimBeach)”, financed by the European Union under the Interreg IPA Croatia–Bosnia and Herzegovina–Montenegro 2021–2027 Programme, was held at the premises of the Lead Partner, UNIST FCEAG (FCEAG Split).
We invite all interested authors for paper submission for the 31st issue of e-ZBORNIK, Electronic Collection of Papers of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, which is expected to be published in June 2026.
e-ZBORNIK is the electronic journal of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy University of Mostar. It publishes scientific and professional papers in the fields of civil engineering, architecture and urban planning, environmental protection, geodesy, technical sciences as well as related fields. e-ZBORNIK is published in Croatian and English, and all papers (both scientific and professional) are reviewed with a double-blind review.
The eighth Regional Stakeholder Meeting (RSM) of the Interreg Danube Region Programme project SpongeCity, implemented by the University of Mostar with its organizational unit, the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy, was held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, in the Council Hall of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy of the University of Mostar.

This is the 30th jubile issue of e-ZBORNIK, Electronic Collection of Papers of the Faculty of Civil Engineering. This issue, like the previous ones, is published in Croatian and English and consists of seven papers.This issue brings out scientific and professional papers dealing with different topics in the field of civil engineering and architecture.
Representatives of the University of Mostar participated in the international event "UniAdrion Italy" Staff Week & Western Balkans Promotion Fair, held from 24 to 28 November 2025 at Università Politecnica delle Marche in Ancona and Università di Teramo (Italy). At this international event, the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy was represented by the Dean, Mladen Kustura, Ph.D.
Petra Pažin and Matej Lozančić, assistants from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy, University of Mostar, participated in the International Days of the ENSIL-ENSCI School in Limoges, held on 18 and 19 November 2025, where they represented the University of Mostar, and participated in activities aimed at strengthening international cooperation.
On Thursday, 6 November 2025, a SCIENTIFIC HOUR on the topic Fire Safety as a Challenge for Energy-Efficient Building Design was held in the conference hall of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Urban Planning, University of Mostar. The lecture was given by Marija Jelčić Rukavina, Ph.D., from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Zagreb (Department of Materials).
Several meetings on the "ClimBeach" project were held during October 2025 at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy University of Mostar.
APLE ERASMUS+ project
Consortium meeting and Teaching staff training

As part of the APLE Erasmus+ project, a three-day teacher training workshop was held at the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb. On the first day, the hosts organized an introduction to the agenda, which was explained by the project manager Mia Roth Čerina after a welcoming speech by Dean Siniša Justić. The lectures were given by Dubravko Bačić, Teodor Cvitanović and Damir Mance on the topics of the Architects' Council of Europe, architectural practice and architectural services.
