Presentation of the Teaching Manual - Occupation: Stone Cutter and Stone-Cutting Technician was organized today in our faculty's conference hall by its authors, Krešimir Šaravanja, M.Sc., and Frano Oreč, B.Sc. (Min.).
The project "Sound of Stone - Partnership for Employment in Stone Production and Processing" is realized in the framework of the programme "Support to Local Partnerships for Employment in Bosnia and Herzegovina" funded by the European Union and implemented by the International Labour Organization (ILO).
One of the preconditions for balancing supply and demand in the labour market is the development of an educational manual for practical teaching, aimed at improving the education system within the Secondary Vocational School in Posušje.
The Teaching Manual - Occupation: Stone Cutter and Stone-Cutting Technician, is intended for training of stone-cutters (and stone-cutting technicians) in this school, but also wider, within other vocational schools. The manual will be useful to students of different faculties, but also to everyone working with stone or being a stone enthusiast.
