On 29 January 2026, the Coordination Meeting of the project “Improving Coastal Areas Resilience to Climate Change Impacts and Setting up Guidelines for Sustainable Beach Stabilisation and Management (ClimBeach)”, financed by the European Union under the Interreg IPA Croatia–Bosnia and Herzegovina–Montenegro 2021–2027 Programme, was held at the premises of the Lead Partner, UNIST FCEAG (FCEAG Split). The following partners participated in the meeting:
• UNIST FGAG (FCEAG Split)
• University of Mostar (UNIMO-FCEAG)
Key topics covered during the meeting included:
• Potential challenges and risks were discussed to ensure timely mitigation
• Review of ongoing tasks, deliverables and deadlines
• Implementation of financial and procurement activities
• Organization of the 3rd PSC meeting
Several practical and technical constraints were identified, notably the challenge of selecting a service provider with the requisite technical capacity and equipment to deliver the full scope of activities, including installation, measurement activities, and reporting. A further issue concerns the need to ensure accurate calibration of all devices in order to guarantee the reliability and consistency of the data collected throughout the monitoring period.
The partners agreed to continue close coordination on these matters and to systematically exchange information on potential suppliers and technical requirements, with the objective of supporting efficient procurement procedures and effective implementation of the planned activities.
