A scientific hour on the topic Why Engineers Are (the Most) Important was held in the faculty amphitheater on Friday, 24 April 2026. Professor Josip Atalić, Ph.D., president and one of the founders of the Croatian Center for Earthquake Engineering, presented the work of this institution, which was established following the devastating earthquakes that struck Croatia in 2020 with the aim of providing expert assistance in assessing damage and reconstructing buildings.

A scientific hour on the topic FRP materials and novel measuring techniques in bridge engineering was held in the conference hall of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Geodesy, University of Mostar, on Wednesday, 22 April 2026. The lecture was given by Dr. Eng. Bartosz Piątek, an Assistant Professor at the Department of Roads and Bridges, Rzeszow University of Technology.

A scientific hour on the topic Geotechnical and Environmental Characterization of Unbound Mixtures of Recycled Concrete Aggregate and Shredded Car Tires was held in the conference hall of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Geodesy, University of Mostar, on Tuesday, 14 April 2026. The lecture was given by Professor Katarzyna Gabryś, Ph.D., from the Department of Geotechnics at the Institute of Civil Engineering, Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW). 

The European projects 'SpongeCity' and 'ClimBeach,' in which the Faculty is a partner, were presented at the Training of Trainers – Enhanced Institutional Capacity workshop on March 12, 2026. Held in the Faculty’s Assembly Hall as part of the GeoConnect project, the session was delivered by a representative from the University of Twente.

Promotion of the Interreg Danube Region Project SPONGECITY within the APLE Fest Banja Luka, held on 20 February 2026 at 12:00 during the Open Talk session on the main stage in the hall of the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy University of Banja Luka (AGGFBL).
