The company TONDACH BiH d.o.o. with the corporation Wienerberger Building Solutions held a presentation to 1st year students of the University Undergraduate Study of Architecture and Urban Planning on 10 November 2020. The presentation was held by the company representatives Davor Tešić and Samir Bubić on the topic of wall construction with brick blocks, modern construction methods and energy efficient properties of brick walls.
Instead of the conventional construction method, the Porotherm PROFI system uses the special one-component Dryfix Extra adhesive, which provides exceptional thermal properties, lower material consumption, quick and easy construction, even up to -5°C.
Through the lecture, the students were informed about raw clay material, deposits in BiH and the production of brick blocks. Construction (bricklaying) of a wall segment was demonstrated with all the brick masonry bonding rules and construction method, as well as the tools for monitoring the quality of masonry. The lectures were harmonized with the part of teaching material studied by students in the first year with a focus on the practical part of teaching.
Representatives of the company TONDACH BiH d.o.o. commented on the business market and business opportunities for young engineers, indicating the high demand for professional representatives of manufacturers of construction products and materials.
