Students of the first year of the undergraduate study of architecture and urban planning visited the plasterboard panel factory Knauf in Knin on 27 March 2019. They were introduced to the process of manufacturing plasterboard panels and sections, as well as elements for construction of lightweight structures, which is in accordance with the syllabus of the course Architectural Structures and Materials II.
U uredskom dijelu tvornice stručno predavanje je održao Ivan Primorac mag. ing. građ., komercijalno tehnički savjetnik tvrtke Knauf doo Sarajevo. Predavanje je obuhvatilo pregradne zidove, oblaganje zidova, spušteni strop i vrste ploča i podkonstrukcije u sustavu suhe gradnje. Praktični rad i prikaz detalja upriličen je u školskom dijelu zajedno s prikazanim elementima, spojevima i materijalima. Studentima su prikazani spojevi i podkonstrukcije, način spajanja i korištenje alata za izvedbu.
A professional lecture was held by Ivan Primorac, commercial and technical advisor of the company Knauf d.o.o. Sarajevo. The lecture covered partition walls, wall panelling, suspended ceiling, types of panels and substructures in the dry construction system. Practical work and presentation of details were organized in the school part along with presented elements, joints and materials.
In the afternoon, students with Prof. Valerija Kopilaš visited the Alka of Sinj Museum in Sinj, where they had the opportunity to hear a lecture of Lukša Ponoš on construction of the museum, supplemented by professional guidance through museum exhibits. The Faculty of Civil Engineering University of Mostar expresses its gratitude to the companies Knauf d.o.o. Sarajevo and Knauf for organizing the trip, which was educational and enjoyable.
